Although Beth did not attend PSU, we both value our higher education experience, both the knowledge and skills we gained and the friends we made and extracurricular activities we participated in. Our education contributed to our career success, and we are excited to give back to the PSU community and allow students to forego some of the financial burden so that they can access all that PSU offers. "At Viking Engineering + Construction, we believe education is the key to opening up new avenues of possibility. Neither of us owners began our respective careers in the construction industry.  For our founder and CEO, Cecil DelaCruz, the high-quality education gained at Maseeh College led initially to a career in the semiconductor industry, and subsequently to the ability to bring that industry's focus on process improvement into the world of construction. For our COO, Jack Kiperman, the broad range of skills gained in the School of Business enabled a transition from a career in the sciences, to one in the business of engineering and construction.

We both believe that the rigorous, process-oriented thinking that is the foundation of education in both schools has always been a key to Viking's continued success, and we are proud to support any effort that serves to continue and enhance the ability of each school to deliver such high-quality education."
