Maseeh College Deans

H. Chik M. Erzurumlu Dean

As a Native American (an enrolled member of the Delaware Tribe of Indians, a federally recognized tribe of the Lenape) and a first-generation college graduate, Dean Bull has a substantial history of and passion for working to improve racial equity and diversity that he brings to Maseeh College. In addition to his ambition to make PSU the destination for Indigenous (and all BIPOC) STEM, his focus on student success (both in the classroom and beyond), renewing industry and alumni relationships, and creating new educational programs fosters a sense of community and belonging at Maseeh College.

The Associate Dean for International Partnerships fosters relationships and creates engineering programs with overseas institutions, mainly in Asia.

Assistant Dean for Inclusive Innovation

The Assistant Dean for Inclusive Innovation leads efforts of the Maseeh College to increase the representation of historically excluded identities and to increase the economic potential of graduates of the Maseeh College and Portland State University. The ADII oversees a broad portfolio that includes strategies to develop teacher capacity for inclusive STEM education in our P-14 partners, to cultivate the capacity and engagement of faculty and students in the Maseeh College in Inclusive Innovation, and to foster innovative and entrepreneurial mindset for students PK-20.
