Ms. Weaver is a music faculty member at Portland State University and Pacific University. In addition to teaching private voice studios, she also instructs music theory courses, and music electives.
She was a semifinalist for the 2024 & 2023 National Student Auditions for the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Ms. Weaver was a District Winner and Regional Competitor in the Metropolitan Opera’s 2024 Laffont Competition. She has sung as a soloist and a section leader with the Oregon Bach Cantata Choir. She is also a member of the Cathedral Schola at Trinity Cathedral. In 2021, she attended the Steamboat Young Artists Institute and performed the role of Second Lady (The Magic Flute). She has performed several operatic roles, including Nancy (Albert Herring), Queen Dido (Dido & Aeneas), and Ruth (The Pirates of Penzance). Ms. Weaver also has a passion for teaching and is an instructor of voice at Pacific University and Portland State University.
