A special collaborative concert featuring the Portland Percussion Group in the world premiere performance of Alejandro Viñao's newest work "Patterns and Form" for Percussion Octet and Piano, a 3-movement masterwork for an assortment of marimbas, xylophones, vibraphones, drums, and piano. Pianist Yoko Greeney joins the PPG for this performance.

The program also features the PPG performing "Cascade," the latest work for percussion and electronics from father-son collaborative duo Terry Longshore and mackxswell, with Terry Longshore as percussion soloist. The PSU Percussion Ensemble and PSU Wind Symphony appear as well, showcasing the vivid and energetic music of Garth Neustadter and Ivan Trevino, with PSU Percussion Studio members as featured soloists.

Join us for this memorable program of imaginative and engaging percussive wizardry!
