Paul Croy Award

Named for a western educator and poet, the Paul Croy Environmental Scholarship was established to provide support to Undergraduate students who are pursuing academic and career goals related to preservation of the environment. This will be awarded to an outstanding student with career interests in the social and policy aspects of environmental protection and management. Environmental Science and Environmental Studies students are both encouraged to apply. The amount for this award is $500 and will be awarded in the Fall 2024 term. You must be a junior or senior full-time student with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 to apply. You must be an enrolled student in Fall 2024 (students who graduate Spring 2024 or Summer 2024 are not eligible). Environmental Science and Environmental Studies majors are eligible. 

To apply, please complete the Croy Award application form. Please submit your application directly to Dr. Patrick Edwards at patrick.edwards@pdx.edu by April 29, 2024. 

Accepting a scholarship may impact a student's financial aid. Students can contact the PSU financial aid office to inquire about their personal financial impact of accepting a scholarship. Upon receipt of the award, the PSU Foundation will contact students about how to provide a thank you note to the donor.
