This program currently operates as a partnership between PSU and school districts by providing instruction to a group of district-sponsored employees. We look for applicants who demonstrate a strong commitment to equity and reflective, culturally responsive practices, and who aspire to support linguistically diverse learners through meaningful educational experiences. We are inspired by candidates who view linguistic and cultural diversity as an asset in our society—honoring students’ identities while expanding their voices, opportunities, and sense of belonging in the K–12 education setting and the broader community.
