Certificate learning objectives

The learning outcomes for this  graduate certificate are based on  the American Talent Development (previously ASTD) Competency Model. Completers of the graduate certificate will be prepared to:

  • Design training
  • Monitor, evaluate, and/or record training activities or program effectiveness
  • Assess training needs through surveys, interviews with employees, focus groups, or consultation with managers, instructors, or customer representatives
  • Develop alternative training methods
  • Organize and develop, or obtain, training procedure manuals, guides and course materials

Program of study

For the convenience of our diverse student body, students can choose to take this certificate in a variety of delivery formats: face-to-face (F2F), hybrid, and online. Refer to the PACE Planning and Course Guide for current offerings and delivery formats. Please note that not all classes are available online. To complete the certificate, students will need to be able to come to campus.
