Peer Note Taking

Peer Note Taking is primarily an accommodation for in-person courses or remote with synchronous lectures that are not otherwise recorded or available for review. If you are teaching an asynchronous course, peer note taking is not needed. If you are teaching a remote synchronous course, recording your lectures and making them available for review on Canvas, you create more opportunities for students to take notes at their own pace. We strongly encourage you to build this kind of accessibility into your course! However, it is possible that a student in your online/remote course may still need a peer note taker, and in that case, the DRC will take the steps listed above.
