Research and Reading Assignment Organization Tools

  • Citation Machine
    • Citation Machine is a website that helps you create citations for sources in APA, MLA, and other citation formats. You add the completed citation directly to your papers and assignments.
  • Kami
    • Kami is an annotation tool that you can use to write on, draw on, type on, and highlight digital documents. You can also convert image PDFs into accessible PDFs with its free OCR (optical character recognition) tool.

Document Storage and Organization Tools

Online file storage services allow you to store and categorize files via your computer and/or mobile device.

  • Google Drive
    • Google Drive is a file storage service that enables you to organize and back up your files, access files across different devices, and share files with others.
  • Dropbox
    • Dropbox is a file storage service that enables you to organize and back up your files, access files across different devices, and share files with others.

Task Management Tools

Calendaring and task management tools allow you to schedule, organize, and share tasks. You can also set email and pop-up reminders for due dates, appointments, and other events.

  • Google Calendar
    • Google Calendar is a digital calendar that can keep events, meetings, and time-based information organized and integrated with your other Google apps.
  • Google Keep
    • Google Keep is a virtual bulletin board where you can add and share digital sticky notes.
  • Microsoft To Do
    • To Do is a task list app that allows you to plan, make, and share to-do lists with due dates and reminders.
  • myHomework
    • myHomework is a student planner app that enables you to plan your classes and make due dates for homework assignments, readings, and projects.
