Mathematics Learning, Teaching, and Leading Program Admissions

Mathematics Learning, Teaching, and Leading Program

Admissions

To apply, complete the program application. When you apply you will be asked to choose the Certificate of Completion or the Mathematics Instructional Leader Specialization or both. Choose the programs that interests you.

If interested in the TPSC specialization, you must be a licensed teacher with three years of successful teaching experience by the end of the program.

  • For the PreK-8 specialization, hold a multiple subjects or foundational mathematics endorsement.
  • For the Grades 6-12 specialization, hold an advanced mathematics endorsement.

If you were previously admitted to PSU and have an active student account with a PSU ID number, you need only submit the Deepening Understanding of Mathematics Teaching, Learning, and Leading program application. If you have not previously been admitted to PSU, you will need to apply to PSU to be a non-degree student to begin taking classes. Once admitted to the program, your program status will allow you to register earlier than other non-degree seeking students.
