BE603: Lean Business Processes

Certificate Track: Process Improvement

Lean principles can be applied to any industry and any function. However, it requires a little creativity to extrapolate the traditional manufacturing examples for the office. In this class, "this won't work here" is addressed by examining Lean principles from an office perspective.

This course builds on the concepts learned throughout the Process Improvement program, but all of the examples and discussion will focus on business support functions such as finance, accounting, planning, marketing, communications, training, purchasing, etc.
