In an effort to ensure all incoming first-year students are supported as they begin at PSU, the SSA pilot program has been extended and expanded to include support for all first-year students. Please join us in welcoming Alice Wang to the team joined by Joe Soto in Student Affairs as part of the SSA program.
Michael Smith (OIRP) and Cori Watkins (OSS) are working collaboratively with the SSAs and Mike Walsh for the program evaluation of the year one and two of the pilot as we hope to secure funding to extend this program beyond the pilot phase.
Some preliminary data suggests that the SSA program may support the university’s retention strategies.
