Melina is an attorney with Student Legal Services, where she advises and advocates for Portland State University students facing housing, employment, personal injury, consumer, and other legal issues. Before joining SLS, Melina worked as a civil litigation attorney in various practice areas including professional negligence, civil rights, trusts and estates, and commercial litigation. She received her Juris Doctor from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2016, and is licensed to practice law in Oregon and California. Melina also serves on the Oregon State Bar Advisory Committee on Diversity & Inclusion and on the Executive Committee for the Owen M. Panner Inn of Court. When not at work, Melina enjoys spending time with her husband and three dogs.
