PSU has a centralized application system. Your application is initially reviewed by the university before it is forwarded to the ETM department. Failure to supply complete and accurate information will delay the admissions process and subject applicants to the University’s policies governing academic dishonesty.
We are on a quarter system and you may start programs in all four quarters. Admission occurs year-round, by the following deadlines:
Start in Fall quarter: September 1
Start in Winter quarter: December 1
Start in Spring quarter: March 1
Start in Summer quarter: June 1
We ask that you apply before the deadlines above. This is particularly important for international applications, which are more complex and take longer to process. It usually takes 4-6 weeks to decide on a completed application. (Completed means all transcripts, recommendation letters, etc. have been submitted online, reviewed by ETM, and a decision forwarded to the Graduate Office).
If you missed a deadline, consider taking a limited number of courses without admission. Contact etminfo@pdx.edu for further information.
