Admissions | Systems Science Master’s

Students learn a wide variety of systems ideas, use them for modeling and analysis in conjunction with ideas and methods from other disciplines, and gain expertise in problem solving and integrative thinking.

Application Materials

Below is the list of the information and materials you will need to provide as part of your application. We recommend preparing these materials in advance of submitting your application.

• Personal Statement: Your statement should explain your goals for the program
  Proof of English Language Proficiency (if applicable)
• References: Submit contact information for at least two individuals who can comment on your academic performance or attest to your skills as they pertain to your selected program of study. Portland State University will contact your references and provide them with instructions for submitting recommendation forms.
• Copies of transcripts only from schools where a bachelor’s degree was awarded and/or graduate-level coursework was completed.
• Proof of English Language Proficiency (if applicable)
