  1. Jon Fink, geology faculty, and Jola Ajibade, geography faculty, co-authored a paper titled “Future Impacts of Climate-Induced Compound Disasters on Volcano Hazard Assessment,” published in the Bulletin of Volcanology.
  2. Jola Ajibade, geography faculty, co-authored a paper titled “Global Adaptation Mapping Team. Tradeoffs and Synergies Across Global Climate Change Adaptations in the Food‐Energy‐Water Nexus,” published in Earth’s Future. 
  3. Alida Cantor, geography faculty, and Bethani Turley, graduate student, published an article titled “Emergent Landscapes of Renewable Energy Storage: Considering Just Transitions in the Western United States” in Energy Research & Social Science. 
  4. Safaa Y. El-Mansy, graduate student, Jack Barbera, chemistry faculty, and Alissa Hartig, applied linguistics faculty, published a study titled, “Investigating Small-Group Cognitive Engagement in General Chemistry Learning Activities Using Qualitative Content Analysis and the ICAP Framework” in Chemistry Education Research and Practice.
  5. Talya Bauer, business faculty, and Todd Bodner, psychology faculty, published “The Impact of Covid-19 on Transit Workers: Perceptions of Employer Responses and Associations With Health Factors” in Oxford Academic: Annals of Work Exposures and Health. 
  6. Maura Kelly and Lindsey Wilkinson, sociology faculty, and Affie Eyo-Idahor, graduate student, co-authored an article, “Improving the Recruitment and Retention of Construction Apprentices through Oregon’s Highway Construction Workforce Development Program” that was accepted for publication in the Journal of Applied Social Science.
  7. Maura Kelly, sociology faculty, submitted a final report to the City of Seattle titled “Assessing the Effectiveness of Acceptable Work Sites Trainings: Evaluation Conducted for the City of Seattle,” representing the end of a project that began in 2018.
