Portland State University School of Architecture has ranked 44th in the list of Learn.org’s 50 Best Architecture Degrees. Learn.org is an online research resource for aspiring students who are planning their educational and professional careers. In creating their rankings, they researched hundreds of universities, examining the faculty, quality of education, degrees offered, retention rates, tuition, rates of graduation and other data points, as well as accreditation from the National Architectural Accrediting Board, facilities, international travel opportunities and more.
PSU’s School of Architecture offers a potent educational experience that “emphasizes the urban-oriented design, material diversity, and social engagement,” according to Learn.org’s research. “As such, this Oregon-located architecture school has developed the Center for Public Interest Design (CPID), which is a research center where student fellows have worked on projects related to Portland's housing crisis and the creation of transit stations in Sacramento.”
“At this school, students can earn a wonderful Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree or a 2- or 3-year Master of Architecture degree,” augmented by the hands-on experience students enjoy in our innovative design-build program and agile study-abroad opportunities.
