Gutted: The Mystery of the Old Art Building invites viewers to investigate memory, absence, and transformation. Through research, storytelling, and artistic intervention, the exhibition explores the mysteries embedded within Portland State University's former Art Building as it faces demolition and transition. Blurring fact and fiction, evidence and speculation, the artists construct a case that may ultimately be impossible to solve.
