Portland State is recognized as Oregon's primary urban public research university for graduate education. We offer innovative classes and coursework with student success at the heart of all that we do. As a graduate student, you'll have the opportunity to take part in collaborative experiences in and outside of the classroom that will forward your career goals.
Our programs are led by some of the nation's best faculty who are committed to seeing you succeed academically and professionally. As a graduate student, you'll join faculty as they make progress on research topics that range from a new cure for malaria to classroom mindfulness.
During the Work Share furloughs, the Graduate School will continue to provide services M-F 9-5. However, during this time employees will have their hours reduced by 20% which will lead to increased processing times for admissions and academic services.
Priorities will include responding to emails and inquiries, processing admissions decisions, graduation applications, GO-16 forms and re-enrollment requests for Summer and Fall terms during this period.
