2 If you participating in a co-admission program, your University Studies requirements may be adjusted.
3 See the list of required and allowed courses for AL/SS transfers.
4 Must include at least 11 credits from a 4-year institution (124 credits is the maximum allowed transfer from a community college)

Important: Starting in the 2022-23 catalog year, all PSU students (including transfers) will also need to fulfill the University’s Race and Ethnic Studies Requirement.

The AL/SS transfer credits can be used to satisfy the University requirements for the Bachelor of Science degree but cannot be used to satisfy the University Studies Junior Cluster course requirement.  Post-bac students (students pursuing a second bachelor’s degree) are not subject to these general education requirements but must meet the requirements for a second bachelor's degree.  Students transferring to the University Honor's College will meet general education requirements as specified by the Honor's College but are still required to meet the Maseeh College AL/SS requirement. Students transferring with a computer science MTM (major transfer map) will meet all lower-division general education requirements through completion of the CS MTM (University Studies Junior Cluster courses still required).

Please consult with a Pathway Adviser for any questions regarding these requirements.
