1. Eileen Brennan, social work faculty, co-authored the paper, “Supporting Sleep and Health of Employed Parents with Typical and Exceptional Care Demands

2. Martín Alberto Gonzalez, Chicano/Latino studies faculty, published “Brown is Beautiful: Cultural Empowerment in Oxnard Schools” in Dialogues: Blog of the American Studies Journal.

3. Jon Holt, world languages and literatures faculty, and Teppei Fukuda, MA ’20, published a translation and accompanying introduction of “Yoshinaga Fumi: Those Gallant Girls’ Comics of Hers,” in The Comics Journals.

4. Alexander Hunt, mechanical and materials engineering faculty, co-authored the paper titled, “Analyzing Modeled Torque Profiles to Understand Scale-Dependent Active Muscle Responses in the Hip Joint.”

5. Antonie Jetter, engineering and technology management faculty, and Ahmed Alibage, engineering and technology management faculty, authored a paper titled “Listening to the Well, Listening to Each Other, and Listening to the Silence — New Safety Lessons from Deepwater Horizon.

6. Mitra Naseh, social work faculty, co-authored a book chapter on “Afghan Refugees in Iran: The Role of NGOs, INGOs, and Humanitarian Organizations Over the Past Four Decades,” part of the book on “Forced Displacement and NGOs in Asia and the Pacific.”

7. Carmen Ripollés, art history faculty, wrote an essay titled, “Introduction to the Global Baroque" in Smarthistory.
