Nicole Greenberg (she/they) is an actor, director, and educator whose work spans professional stages, classrooms, and community spaces. She holds an MFA in Acting and Directing from the University of Missouri–Kansas City and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. They have performed and directed with companies across the country including Kansas City Repertory Theatre, Portland Center Stage, Unicorn Theatre, Heart of America Shakespeare Festival, and Spinning Tree Theatre, as well as in the Sundance-selected feature film Sometimes I Think About Dying.

At Portland Center Stage, Nicole serves as a teaching artist and curriculum designer, developing a five-course adult acting program that approaches training holistically, integrating classical technique with creative inquiry. At Portland State University, she teaches Acting I: The Process, emphasizing rigorous technique, collaboration, and cultivating the artist’s individual voice. She has also designed and led theatre programs for youth, including a full K–8 curriculum at The Renaissance School of Arts & Sciences.

Their training also includes a Certificate of Training in Balinese Mask and Dance through Dell’Arte International’s study abroad program in Bali, which deepened her commitment to physical theatre and cross-cultural performance practice.

Passionate about empowering emerging artists, Nicole is committed to creating accessible, equitable spaces for students of all backgrounds. She continues to bridge academic and professional theatre, preparing PSU students to thrive as performers and as engaged members of the artistic community through joy, curiosity, and collaboration.
