Spring published

 

  1. Paula Carder, Director of the Institute on Aging and OHSU-PSU School of Public Health faculty, Walt Dawson and Ozcan Tunalilar, Institute on Aging, wrote an op-ed, titled “OHSU Professors: Clackamas County Residents Can ‘Age Their Way’” that was published in various Pamplin Media channels. 
  2. Karen Carr, history faculty emeritus, wrote a book, “Shifting Currents: A World History of Swimming,” that was recently released in the United Kingdom from Reaktion Books and will be distributed in the United States by University of Chicago Press in early July.  
  3. Inger M. Olsen, world languages and literatures faculty, wrote a review of the book “The Shoestring Letters: A Tribute to the Immigrant” that was published in The Bridge, Journal of the Danish American Heritage Society.
  4. Ryan Petteway, OHSU-PSU School of Public Health faculty, wrote a paper, “What You Should Know About RACISM-20 in the U.S.: A Fact Sheet in the Time of COVID-19,” that was published in the Critical Public Health journal. 
  5. Katie Sinback, film office coordinator, wrote “Ways to Die,” which is the May featured fiction in Southern Humanities Review.
