Spring published

 

  1. Jola Ajibade, geography faculty, authored an essay titled “Building Back Better From Cascading Climate-Covid Disasters: An Intersectional Lens Matters for Equitable Resilience,” published by MIT’s Norman B. Leventhal Center for Advanced Urbanism. 
  2. Jon Holt, Japanese faculty, and Teppei Fukuda MA ’20 published a translation and accompanying introduction of the essay, “The Power of Onomatopoeia in Manga,” in Japanese Language and Literature.
  3. Mitra Naseh, social work faculty, co-authored a paper, “Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing to Reduce Post-Traumatic Stress Symptoms Among Forcibly Displaced People: A Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis,” published in Research on Social Work Practice journal. 
  4. Lynn Santelmann, applied linguistics faculty, published an article “Using Party Games to Help Students Understand Models of Psycholinguistics” in Teaching of Psychology. 
  5. Katie Sinback, film office coordinator, wrote a story, “Sisterhood is Powerful,” included in the anthology “Resist With Every Inch and Every Breath.”
  6. Sue Taylor, art history faculty emerita, published essays on French artists Félix Vallatton and Rosa Bonheur in Art in America in December 2021 and May 2022, respectively.
