  1. Jola Ajibade, geography faculty, gave a talk titled “Global Mapping of Success in Managed Retreat: Towards an Intersectional Justice Approach” at Middlebury Institute of International Studies, in Monterey, Calif. on Oct. 6.
  2. Jola Ajibade, geography faculty, gave a talk titled “Resilient Urbanism in an Era of Uncertainties: Challenging Dominant Forms and Flows” at the Hatfield Fellow Professional Development Program, PSU Center for Public Service, on Oct. 7.
  3. Anita Bright, education faculty, was on a panel covering “Pluriverse Designs: Creating Anti-racist Communities of Practice” at the Innovations in Teaching and Learning Conference at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia.
  4. Henry Covey, English faculty, presented “Disaster Documentation Revisited: The Evolving Damage Assessments of Emergency Management in Oregon” at the SIGDOC 2021 Conference in Tacoma, Washington on Oct. 14.
  5. Annabelle Dolidon, world languages and literatures faculty, presented on “Developing an Open-Source Textbook” at the 2021 COFLT Fall Virtual Conference on Oct 8.
