  7. Aaron Roussell, Sociology faculty, gave an invited talk, titled “Legitimizing Power: A Field Manual for Defeating Police Reform Movements” for the Examining Power in Society Seminar at the University of Idaho. 
  8. Sue Taylor, Art History faculty emerita, presented an invited lecture titled “Thoughts on Politics, Psychoanalysis, and Contemporary Abstraction,” on Dec. 8 for the Schneider Museum of Art at Southern Oregon University.
  9. Maria Tenorio and Micki Caskey, Education faculty, co-wrote “Sustaining the Circle: Native Teacher Preparation and Retention,” a chapter in the Handbook of Research on Teachers of Color and Indigenous Teachers published by the American Educational Research Association.
  10. Melissa Thompson, Sociology faculty, presented a paper titled “Gender, Parental Separation, and Mental Health in Prison” in November at the American Society of Criminology annual meeting in Atlanta.
