PSU Fac-Led Infor Session (VIRTUAL) : England: Sheffield & London - Revitalization Planning and Development

This course is designed to provide students with an introduction to the planning and real estate development systems in England. While it is often assumed because of shared language and close historical ties that the US and England have a similar approach to planning, development regulation, property rights, development finance, and real estate development. Yet in practice, the two systems are quite different. This course will allow students of US urban planning and real estate development to study and learn about and learn from the English system and to begin to acquire a greater appreciation of different planning and development philosophies and approaches.
