Calendar Location Portland's First United Methodist Church 1838 SW Jefferson St, Portland, OR Cost / Admission $25 General Admission Contact Ethan Sperry esperry@pdx.edu The Portland State Chamber Choir honors the memory to its two founding conductors: Dr. David Wilson (1938-2021) who founded the Portland State Chamber Choir in 1975 and conducted it until 1978; and Dr. Bruce Browne (1941-2020) who conducted the ensemble from 1978-2006 and brought the ensemble to international prominence. GET TICKETS The current Chamber Choir will perform the first half of the concert which includes music they will present at the 2022 World Choral Exposition in Portugal. The Chamber Choir will be joined by many of its alumni for the second half of the concert and perform many of Bruce and Dave's favorite pieces under the direction of many of their former students who are now choral conductors.
