Calendar Come learn how throughout human history, dress and adornment have been vehicles for communicating both individual and collective identities. This course uses Italy as a home base for examining post-industrial clothing and its context from 1900 to the present. Students will learn the materials and processes involved in clothing the body and understand the ways dress serves as an indicator of larger social, cultural, economic, and political contexts.
