Join us in welcoming Randall Trowbridge as he presents on The Grand Era of Wooden Architecture in Portland: Portland’s Original Buildings of 1843-1853. Randall works closely with the Architectural Heritage Center, which focuses on empowering people to discover and preserve Portland’s historic and culturally significant places. They envision that, through their programs and advocacy, people across Portland will embrace preservation and reuse as a key component of creating equitable, livable, and sustainable communities.

What is Friday@1?

On most Fridays at 1 p.m. during the academic term, PSU School of Architecture students and faculty gather to hear from professional designers and architects, academics, visiting artists, innovators, and students in the program. Friday@1 is a perfect way to wrap up each week of intense creativity in the studio and get inspired for the productive weekend ahead.
