Please join us on Friday, September 30, 2022, for an artist talk, film screening and exhibition gathering with Film student Garrett Recker, winner of the 2021 Andries Deinum Prize for Visionaries and Provocateurs.

Recker will talk about their multimedia exhibition "The Born Project" and present the premiere of the film of the same name. In this project, Recker incorporates the viewpoints and personal stories of young LGBTQ+ adults from across Oregon, using words, still images and video to examine and challenge gender norms and body ideals in the fashion industry. The exhibition will be on view in the Broadway Gallery from Friday, September 30, 2022, through January 20, 2023.

The event is free and open to the public.
