ll international students are also required to check in with the Office of International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) office upon arrival. While we no longer check students in at the office, you will have an opportunity to check in with us at Orientation. Many of of your questions may be answered by reviewing information found on the International Student Services web page.

All new international students, including those transferring from another U.S. institution, must attend this mandatory orientation and immigration session.

• Undergraduate students (seeking a first Bachelor degree at Portland State University) are also expected to attend an Advising and Registration Day.
  
• Graduate students will meet with the Coordinator of the Office of Graduate Studies during the mandatory Orientation Session.
