Second Language Proficiency

All applicants who graduated from high school or earned a GED in 1997, or any year after, in the state of Oregon, must demonstrate proficiency in a second language. Demonstrate proficiency in one of the following ways:
- Pass with a C- or better, two years of the same high school-level second language
- Pass with a C- or better the third year of a high school-level second language
- Pass with a C- or better, two quarters or two semesters of the same college-level second language
- Pass a proficiency exam
Students must provide official high school or college transcripts to indicate the Second Language Proficiency has been met.
