Josephine also supports students in Amazon's Career Choice program.

Josephine has been working in the field of admissions since 2002 and joined Portland State University in August 2015. With a bachelor's degree in Marketing, she wasn't expecting a career in education, but when the opportunity came along, she found it to be just the right fit for her. Josephine grew up in central Ohio, in a town called Worthington. She has since lived in California, New Jersey, and Massachusetts before moving to Oregon. Josephine's favorite thing about PSU is that there isn't a 'typical' student. There is such a diverse group of students who attend PSU, and yet for all of their differences, they've all found something at PSU that works for them. In addition to her work at PSU, Josephine also enjoys the art scene in Portland, from theatre, to music, to dance and fine art. Along with her partner, Ed, she enjoys fixing up their home, throwing dinner parties, and in her words, "trying to garden."
