Step One: Send your application for undergraduate admission to the Office of Admissions, Registration and Records by the priority filing date, accompanied by a non-refundable processing fee of $50.00. You can use the on-line admissions application or request an application to be sent by mail by contacting the Office of Admissions, Registration and Records.
Step Two: Submit your scores from either the Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) or American College Test (ACT). The PSU school code for the SAT is 4610 and the code for ACT is 3492.
Step Three: In addition to test scores, submit an official copy of your high school transcripts. Note: To be official, the transcript must be in its original, sealed envelope from the issuing school or institution.All documents submitted to the University become the property of Portland State University and cannot be returned, copied or released.
Students who will earn Advanced Placement, International Baccalaureate, or college credit through their high school are also required to submit official exam results and transcripts. To finalize admission, students should be sure to have a final high school transcript sent showing the date of graduation immediately following successful high school completion.
