Important Permit Information

All parking permits purchased online will be mailed to customers within 1-2 business days from the date of purchase to the address provided at checkout. You will be issued a temporary printable permit via email to display until your permit arrives at the address provided in your online transaction.

Please read carefully for important information about your permit and parking at PSU.

Parking Regulations:

  • The entire permit must be clearly visible at all times.
  • A vehicle displaying a permit must be registered with PSU
  • The vehicle must have current license plates and registration.
  • Not valid in hourly pay-to-park or reserved spaces
  • Void if altered, copied, or sold, and subject to citation
  • Commuter permits are not valid for overnight parking.
  • PSU is not responsible or liable for damage to or theft of your vehicle or its contents.

Accessible Parking

Accessible/disabled parking spaces are available in all parking lots and structures operated by PSU. Any PSU parking permit is valid in any accessible space, regardless of location, when displaying a valid DMV disabled parking placard. Day and time restrictions still apply to time-limited PSU permits.

How to Display Your Parking Permit:

Parking Permits should be placed on the rearview window of the vehicle, making sure the designated side with parking information is facing outward so parking enforcement can clearly see the permit number. The permit must be visible at all times. Please see the example below for permit placement.

Parking Terms and Conditions:

How to park until you pick up your permit:

If you purchased a permit online within two weeks of the academic term start, you would be emailed a link to a temporary, printable permit valid for seven days from the date of purchase. You must follow the link and print your temporary permit within five days of your online purchase.

What to do if you forget/lose your permit:

You must always display your parking permit when parked on campus, or you will be subject to a citation. If you don't have your permit for any reason, please call the TAPS office, 503-725-3442 to get a temporary permit for the day. Permit holders may use this option up to three times per month. If your permit is lost or missing, please visit our office to report your permit lost and request a replacement. There is a $25 replacement fee for lost permits.

Part-time permits are valid all hours and all days during finals week of the associated term. Locations restrictions still apply.
