About Data Analytics

It is difficult to imagine today’s world without big data. More information is available than ever before, and understanding how to properly collect, evaluate, draw conclusions from, and apply data is critical for making informed business decisions. Professionals in all industries are increasingly using large-scale data sets to make organizational improvements such as increased efficiency and effectiveness.

CEPE’s Data Analytics Certificate program provides participants with a foundation in this rapidly evolving field, with exposure to new concepts, techniques, and nomenclature. Instructors will share practical knowledge and tools that participants can immediately apply in the workplace to help achieve improved outcomes and positively impact their organizations. Participants will develop technical data analytics skills and learn how to make ethical, data-driven decisions and communicate effectively using data.

CEPE aspires to allow students up to 3 years to complete a certificate program, however, CEPE's program offerings can fluctuate due to market/community demand. Therefore, we reserve the right to cancel or revise a program at any time. This means that CEPE does not guarantee the completion of any certificate, so if certificate completion is a student's goal, we encourage completion as quickly as possible when courses are available.

The hands-on classroom experiences were excellent. While the classes that focused on the theory and history of data analytics were good, the hands-on classroom experiences were what I remember most. We spent a few hours using basic coding and several more hours experimenting with different data visualization programs.
