Mathematics + Statistics Collaborative Spaces
The Fariborz Maseeh Department of Mathematics + Statistics is located on the fourth floor of Fariborz Maseeh Hall. After an extensive 20-month renovation, Fariborz Maseeh Hall opened its doors as a vibrant center for student success, interdisciplinary learning and cultural outreach. Located between SW Broadway and the South Park Blocks, the 217,000 square foot building provides modern accommodations with reconfigured and expanded classrooms to support academic excellence and interdisciplinary connections.
The department computer lab is located in the basement of Fariborz Maseeh Hall (FMH) room B127. The lab is temporarily closed due to the university's coronavirus-related campus closure. The lab is typically open during the term from 8am to 8pm. It is available for general use within those hours when classes are not in session. The schedule will be posted here once the campus fully reopens.
Free tutoring in introductory statistics and probability is provided by our graduate teaching assistants in a separate area of the computer lab. Tutoring will resume once the campus fully reopens. You can access virtual tutoring through the Learning Center.
If you have any questions about the computer lab or if you are a PSU student and would like to work as a lab attendant, please email the lab manager, Rachel Webb, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
