Public Service Week recognizes and honors individuals who have made significant contributions to public service. The event also encourages the PSU community and the general public to discuss how they can contribute to building and strengthening public service, as well as the relationships between public service professionals and external community members, thereby strengthening the connections between the Hatfield School of Government and the broader community. Every year, each unit within the Hatfield School nominates a member from the community who they feel exemplifies public service. These are the recipients:
