Admissions | Hydrology Graduate Certificate

The graduate certificate in hydrology is designed to give students advanced training in hydrology, leading to professional certification with the American Institute of Hydrology (AIH).

Deadlines

Hydrology certificate students can be admitted in the fall, winter or spring terms.

  • Fall Term start: April 1
  • Winter Term start: Oct. 1
  • Spring Term start: Jan. 1

How to Apply

New Students and PSU Postbacc Students

New students who have not yet applied to PSU must first apply to PSU. Please note that unofficial transcripts are acceptable for the review process, but before you receive permission to register, you will need to provide official transcripts.

Current PSU Graduate Students

  • Submit an application form with unofficial transcripts to the school. Applications may be submitted via email or in person (SRTC 218). 
  • Submit a GO-19 Request for Change of Program form to the department
  • Students must apply to be admitted into the certificate at least 4 weeks in advance of applying for graduation from the program. The term of admit for applicants already admitted in to a PSU master's, doctoral, or graduate certificate program will be the term in which applicants are accepted in to the certificate program, submit a GO-19 to the school and are registered for classes at PSU.
