Leading People through Non-Stop Change
This workshop equips you with the practical social science frameworks and actionable techniques to reduce team resistance, secure buy-in, and drive complex organizational change initiatives to a successful finish. Participants will learn the concepts and various models of managing people through complex transitions in organizational settings. This includes understanding how individuals and groups of people are affected. Despite the circumstances, people deal with the loss of their identity and aspects of their work, as well as uncertainty about their and the organization’s future. This interactive session will offer practical action steps, as well as exercises incorporating specific and actual change issues occurring in the organization. Each participant receives a workbook with detailed instructions for the interactive exercises used during the session that can also be replicated in future retreats and/or with other groups in the organization.
Optional Follow-on Session
Additional advanced work in this area can include naming a specific change management issue and delving deeper to apply a project framework incorporating the change management models covered in the workshop. This will provide detailed action steps and practical guidance with a team designated to deal with the specific change issue.
