College and University Programs Custom programs for colleges and universities:These programs typically last 1-4 weeks and can include dormstay, homestay, or staying at a hotel. Example Activities Medical Programs Visit U.S. hospitals, medical schools and their simulation labs! In our medical programs you can learn about how U.S. medical schools train their students, including through realistic practice such as their simulation lab where students can practice techniques. Medical Programs Students learning about hospice care at Ray Hickey Hospice House Our medical programs focus on differences between the U.S. and home countries in providing care. Students visit speciality providers such as children's hospitals, hospice centers and non-profits. Social Entrepreneurship Enterpreneurship participants spend the day at PSU's Business Accelerator department and speak with local start-up founders. In our Social Entrepreneurship program, participants receive workshops focused on entrepreneurship & leadership. They also get the opportunity to visit local businesses and shadow a start-up! Sustainability and Service-Learning / Volunteering Programs Students learning about the city's management of garbage and recycling We want all of our programs to include a focus on sustainability as something PSU and Portland are known for.
