Portland State University's Center for International & English Learning is the home for International Special Programs. We offer study abroad opportunities for various groups coming to Portland. Our programs can be tailored to either short-term or long-term needs based on your preference. Classes offered through the programs are not eligible for PSU credit.
We work with our partners in order to ensure that your students have the best possible experience while here and can offer a variety of services, ranging from only providing teachers or excursions to the more common fully tailored programs including:
- Custom curriculum design
- Hiring teachers and providing guest lecturers
- Providing transportation to and from the Portland International Airport
- Assistance in providing homestay or other housing services
- Detailed program and class orientations
- Arranged excursions in the greater Portland area and beyond
In addition to these services, we are always open to the needs and desires of our partners in order to create experiences and memories that will last long after your time in Portland.
Our office is located on Portland State University's campus, in the Karl Miller Center on the 6th Floor (Office of Global Engagement and Innovation).
