Craig Epplin is an associate professor of Spanish who teaches and writes on Latin American cultural production. His first book, Late Book Culture in Argentina, published by Bloomsbury in 2014, is a study of literary experiments with the book as a physical object by contemporary Argentine authors. He is currently writing about representations of underground spaces—mines, graves, tunnels, the Metro, the aqueous subsoil of Mexico City—in recent Mexican literature.
