Influence PSU's newest mural at the 11/5 Mural Concept Lab
What if the NEW mural on SW 12th was infused with your PSU story?
Time to tell the artist what you think!
The PSU Planning & Sustainability Office, PSU Foundation, and Portland Street Art Alliance are partnering with local artist David Rice to transform the wall at Parking Structure 3 (1631 SW 12th Ave) into our newest campus gateway.
At the Mural Concept Lab, students will talk with the artist and influence design considerations. By sharing what life at PSU is actually like, the mural can align with our unique and shared perspectives.
- Guide the Concept: Bring your PSU stories to the drawing board to inform the design and help turn the side of a parking garage into a vibrant, campus gateway with a HUGE piece of community-driven art.
- Learn the Creative Process: Sit down with a pro muralist and see how big public art projects get built from scratch.
Make a Lasting Impact: Have a direct say in transforming Parking Structure 3 - one of the most visible walls on campus.
