Toulan School students awarded WTS scholarships

Two Toulan School students were recently awarded scholarships from WTS International.

 

Eun Jun Choi, a second-year doctoral student in Urban Studies, received the Jannet Walker-Ford Leadership Legacy Scholarship. This scholarship awards $5,000 to a young woman pursuing a career in transportation. Eun Jun stood out as a woman who demonstrates “leadership in bringing ideas, innovation, and innovative approaches to transportation challenges in the US and beyond.”

 

Holly Querin, a second-year MURP student, received the Helene M. Overly Scholarship. This scholarship honors the first Executive Secretary of WTS by awarding $10,000 to an applicant who embodies Overly’s “dedicated service to the organization in public service, organizational abilities and a spirit of determination.”
