Media company Good Good Good highlighted Toulan School researcher and professor Marisa Zapata’s study on tiny homes. The study showed that homeless people who move into tiny homes are more likely to transition into permanent housing than those who move into group shelters.

MURP student Brian Bill wrote an article for BikePortland about his team’s MURP Workshop project, which aims to repurpose West Burnside Street during the closure of the Burnside Bridge. The project is a collaboration between MURP students, Better Block PDX, and Strong Towns PDX.
