Toulan School professor Aaron Golub weighs in on the difficulties befalling nonprofits in Portland. He is the board treasurer for OPAL, a nonprofit that advocates for public transit.

 

January 2—What will living in Oregon be like in 2050?

Affiliated research faculty member Megan Horst was interviewed by Jefferson Public Radio about the book Toward Oregon 2050: Planning a Better Future. Horst edited and wrote for the book, and several Toulan School faculty members contributed to it as well.

Toulan School professor Marisa Zapata comments on Portland mayor Keith Wilson’s plan to end unsheltered homelessness. Zapata is also the director of PSU's Homelessness Research & Action Collaborative (HRAC).

 

January 23—New insights sought as homeless survey begins in Portland metro

Zapata discusses the Point-in-Time Count, an initiative of HRAC that serves to develop a census of people living unhoused in Multnomah, Clackamas, and Washington counties.
