Congratulations to Sam Carlson, Community Development alumnus, for being honored as a 2024 Housing Oregon Star Player!
Sam works for CASA of Oregon, an organization that works to build generational wealth for those who have been marginalized. In their celebratory LinkedIn post for Sam and two coworkers, CASA of Oregon praised the recipients’ intelligence, compassion, and “nonstop dedication to affordable housing preservation and development.”
The award was presented at Housing Oregon’s annual conference last month. Housing Oregon is a statewide organization of 75 organizations building, financing, and supporting affordable housing.
