PROGRAM OVERVIEW and COSTS:
The PSU Employee Transit Pass is an Adult TriMet fare valid for the period of time listed below. The Employee Transit Pass is only available to current PSU employees.
The fare instrument is a PSU/TriMet Hop Card issued and activated by PSU Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS). The Employee Transit Pass is $50.00 per month and payroll deductible. Passes purchased after the 10th of the month will require a partial monthly fee payment. For example, a pass purchased on the 11th of the month will cost $32 for the remaining of the same month, and payroll deductions will start on the 1st of the following month.
Payroll deductions will continue until an employee opts out of the Employee Transit Pass program. 9-month employees who receive 10 paychecks per year (September – June) will not have an active transit pass for July and August but will have the option to purchase a pass for these months from TAPS at a cost of $50 per month.
